Q: How did you become an artist?

By having time! I’ve always liked art but family and work took priority. Deciding that I needed to make time for art got me on the path to being able to sell some of my works.

Q: What is it that you do? Describe yourself and what makes you unique.

Loose – watercolour, water mixable oils. Dabbing in pen and ink and pastels. Natural inclination is on detail but I like the challenge of loose, unstructured work.

Q: Tell us about the work that makes you the proudest? (It can be more than one.)

Someone wanting to buy an artwork of mine + people asking me to do commissions. However, sometimes you’re just proud within yourself with what you’ve produced.

Q: Who or what inspires you? What keeps you going?

Stanhope Forbes, Haidee-Jo Summers, Tom + John Hoar and a whole lot more artists I follow on Instagram like Mike Staniford.
